About the Event
Amanda is running Horsemanship Clinics around New Zealand this spring with limited
venues and dates! These clinics are specially catered for people wanting to develop a
better relationship with their horse and cover body control work (including teaching
the hindquarter yield, forehand yield and side pass on the ground and ridden), horse
communication, working through anxiety and fear thresholds and more.
These teachings are so incredibly beneficial for building more confidence and
understanding with your horse, no matter your ambition or level of skill!
Price: $200 per horse/ handler includes ground fee. Spectators are also welcome to attend for $90 + $5.00 ground fee
The clinics start at 9:30am and run to 3-5pm. Handlers need to bring a rope halter, 12-
foot lead, riding gear, hay and water for your horse and lunch.
They also need riding gear, and lunch for themselves.
In the morning, Amanda will work with each horse individually on the ground, before
teaching people the step-by-step process of achieving certain body control movements.
In the afternoon, Amanda will demonstrate ridden lateral work on two horses, before
teaching everyone on their own horses how to work through the same step-by-step
process.
